NUBE ❄ Update: Pachanga Navidena 2017

As winter arrives in December and we bear witness to longer nights, shorter days, and colder evenings. The holiday season is close. Our Fall Fiestas were a success, we spent time making slime, watching movies, eating, and while dancing raised nearly $1,000 in funds for relief efforts in Puerto Rico and Mexico. In November we gathered, honored, and celebrated our past and future. We engaged in our future by knocking on doors and making calls to encouraging our neighbors to vote on November 7th. We congratulate the winners Mayor Marty Walsh, Lydia Edwards who will represent our District 1 in the City Council, and the four at-large city councilors - Michelle Wu, Ayanna Pressley, Annissa E. George, and Michael Flaherty. We hope they will lead the city to integrating our key values of Welcome, Justice, and Abundance. We honored our past, sharing some history of the Wampanoag nation of Massachusetts and a movie to celebrate Native American history.  Our Justice Circle is celebrating December by convening neighbors in an Art Night that illustrates community unity.  We look forward to closing out the year with our Pachanga Navideña fundraiser, our last party of the year. We hope you can join us. Register here for our next events
