November 8th - Presidential General Election: This is when we will elect the new President of the United States along with other statewide officeholders.  

This upcoming November is the Presidential General Election here is some important dates and information!  We will update this information as we get closer to the election so visit us again. You always vote in the same place according to where you live.   • October 19— Last day to register or change party enrollment for the November 8th General Election; Online Voter Registration

  • October 24-November 4th: Take advantage of Early Voting opportunity!  For a complete list of location visit MassVOTE! Early Voting location page. 

    • Monday, Oct 24th from 2-8pm at 61 Bayswater Street, Orient Heights Yacht Club near Orient Heights Blue Line T Stop.

    • Saturday, Oct 29th from 12-6pm at the 209 Sumner St, Heritage St Apt by Maverick Square Blue Line T Stop.  

Did you know that this year East Boston wlll be voting FIVE times in 2016. Here’s the scoop on all of first four…..

  1. March 1st - Presidential Primary [Results] This is when we elect the Presidential candidate we want to see move on to the general election in November. 
  2. April 12th - Special Election Primary [Results] Our State Senator Anthony Petruccelli recently resigned from his position triggering this special election to fill his post. This primary election will narrow the number of candidates in each party. 
  3. May 10th - Special Election General [Results] This is when we will elect our new State Senator to represent East Boston. 
  4. September 8th - Statewide Office Primary [Results] All of Massachusetts will vote on Sept. 8th for candidates who will fill statewide positions. The winners from each party from this election will appear on the ballot for the general election in November.
